Gdańsk Airport — key information
Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (IATA: GDN, ICAO: EPGD) sits in the Rębiechowo district, about 12 km from the centre of Gdańsk. It is the largest airport in northern Poland and the third busiest in the country by passenger traffic (after Warsaw and Kraków). It handles around 5–6 million passengers a year.

The terminal — layout and zones
Gdańsk Airport has a single integrated passenger terminal that links Terminal A (Schengen) and Terminal B (non-Schengen/charter). After its renovation and expansion in 2012–2019, the terminal is modern, well signposted and comfortable.

Parking at Gdańsk Airport can be booked online with a discount of up to 30%. Booking ahead is strongly recommended in the summer season (July–August).
How to get from the airport to the centre of Gdańsk

Taxi
The taxi rank is at the terminal exit (level 0). Use only licensed taxis (iTaxi, Super Taxi, Taxi Gdańsk). Price to the centre: 65–95 PLN. Avoid unsolicited offers in the hall.
City bus (line 210)
The stop is at the terminal exit (level 0, right-hand side). Buses run every 20–30 minutes during the day. Time to the centre (Gdańsk Główny station): approx. 45–55 minutes. Ticket: 4–5 PLN. No night services.
Car rental
All the major companies are available in the terminal: Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Enterprise, Sixt, Budget. The desks are on level 0, by baggage reclaim. Booking online is much cheaper than on site.

Check-in and security — how it works
Standard check-in rules at Gdańsk Airport:
